Many photographers love to travel around to take memorable photos. Whether you’re a professional or an amateur photographer, you will want to visit Sukhumvit, Bangkok. This beautiful area is one of the best places to take pictures. Here are seven different spots you can go to for that perfect picture you wanted for so long:
1 – Benjakiti Park
Located in Asok, the beautiful Benjakiti Park is only a few minutes away by foot from Asok BTS Station. It is also nearby Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre MRT Station. Don’t be surprised if you run into other photographers, as this place is famous for it.
2 – Asoke intersection
The Asoke Intersection is one of Bangkok’s centers of business. In fact, with so many immigrant communities, hotels, restaurants, and other establishments, it is a center to many things, which is why this place is jammed often. If you want an awesome light-trail photo, you can set up on the skywalk and do so. However, there are security guards that might stop you if they aren’t in the mood.
3 – Exchange Tower
To get here, you can stop at the Asoke BTS station and use the sky bridge link. The Exchange Tower holds excellent spots for photo taking. To go up, you’ll need to find the elevator that is near the entrance of BTS. There aren’t many security guards, so you will have time to whip out your tripod for a few photos.
4 – Phrom Phong BTS Station
Nearby this BTS Station, there are a few favorite places, such as Benjakiti Park, the Emporium Mall, and Dinosaur Planet. It is the perfect place for street photography because of its busy nature. With many restaurants and shopping malls around, tourists and expats will fill the area. It is recommended to take your photos at sunset—the best time for photos.
5 – Sukhumvit Soi 24
Located next to the Emporium Shopping Mall and Phrom Phong BTS station, this place is excellent for reflection shots, especially during rainy seasons. This is because of the many apartments that populate the area. Take a walk around, and you’ll find spots for a photo.
6 – BTS Nana
This BTS station is found in Sukhumvit Soi 9. Surrounded by hotels, tourist-oriented facilities and walking distance from the red-light district and Nana Plaza, there will be lots of traffic.
